INSPARATIONAL PEOPLE

There are ordinary people in this world,

who remind us, that it is a privilege to live and not a right.

They remind us, that pursuing your dreams and living your life, is what our focus should be on.

They count life's difficulties and uncontrollable circumstances as insignificant.

Arthur Piercy is one such person.

Arthur was injured  when his plain was hit by a missile during the war in Angola,1987.

He became a quadriplegic, loosing the use of his legs, and so, it was thought, his ability and passion to fly!

 But

Arthur never gave up his dream despite all the odds!

He is currently managing a project building his own light aircraft in which he hopes to fly around the world!

See www.projectdreamwings.co.za  if you would like to get involved or read more

Arthur Piercy and Carla (my daughter) then 3 years old.

Arthur, you are an encouragement to us all!  your sense of humour, respect for people and determination inspires so many.

We love you, believe in you and salute you.

NEVER EVER GIVE UP!

Hi Blogees and Blogets

I have to share a clip from  a most inspiring movie I have seen recently!

This movie was released 2006.

A Story about a 11 year old African American girl, who takes part in a spelling bee.

Listen to the words she is reading.

Enjoy and  may we live by it!

IN APRIL . . . .

Hi Bloggers
Almost the end of April! Autumn has begun. Looking out on my garden. I see evidence of leaves covering my lawn.

Like everything in life, we experienced good and bad as a family this month. Both my parent's and in-laws were victims of CRIME!

I shudder at the lack of respect for life in this country!

IF RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER IS SOWN- IT WILL BE GROWN!

My blogg is not about politics, but we will soon be voting in the good old S.A. and I would like to remind all voters to pray and vote wisely!

This month my hubby and I celebrated 19 years of marriage! By God"s grace and choosing to love .

I love you Babe! you are the best thing that ever happened to me! I appreciate your dependability and hard work!

I was spoiled by a surprise candlelight dinner! All planned by my daughter. Thanks my girl mommy is so proud off you xx

I'll be posting Pics as soon as I figure out how!

My Sis and her and daughter having birthday celebrations this month. Looking forward to a real "boerekos" lunch with the family.

Carla ,my Daughter, has started a new school this month, in a different language I might add ,and so far so good! "Hang in there my girl!"

I also tried my hand at baking mince pie. An old family tradition . Not so happy about the way they looked but they tasted grate. That's what counts isn't it?

SO FRIENDS
VALUE LIFE AND WORK HARD AT RELATIONSHIPS
IN THE END IT IS OUR MOST PRECIOUS
GIFT WE HAVE
